ICR assists in the training of students in typical investigative procedures, such as the stratigraphic analyses of mortars and paints. Our conservators and conservation scientists conduct one-day to multi-day workshops on state-of-the-art techniques for assessing, sampling, and analyzing historic building fabric. Some of the training services ICR can provide are:

  • Field visits for training in investigative site work and sampling
  • Training for laboratory analysis at ICR’s laboratory or other facilities
